My suggestion is if noone has suggested it already. set up where you type in your password pick your character then pick your server then connect to game, i have on several times loaded game and been sooo lagged i had to close the game and reload it just to try and play.

Suggestion#2 in options do like starwars galaxies and have a character screen where u can switch characters without loging off.

Theres only 1 server, unless you switch regions, i.e Europe, Korea, Japan, etc.

Suggestion # 1 I'm not sure if that would work. I'm not exactly sure how the ANet network works, but I suspect you don't actually log into one big server. Instead, I think each city is its own small server. Thus picking your server doesn't exactly ummm.... exist.

They will never put in suggestion # 2. It's been suggested before and they've told us it was for account security reasons. I'm not really sure what they mean by that or how having to log out and back in to change characters makes things secure, but they have said that will never change.

i am in south africa using an american account so i don't log into a cities server....

you are playing and your roommate (example) is mad at you and deletes (with all gold/loot) the character on screen when you go answer the door

roommate does not have password to log back in so damage is limited to one character instead of the full account of four (6 with merged Factions)
